Parents have the primary responsibility for the education of their children. The school, the church, and the civic community support, enhance, facilitate and complement this role. Any successful educational program depends upon the cooperation and involvement of the parents with the school. Agreement to enroll your child/children in St. Patrick Catholic School carries certain parental responsibilities.

It is expected that parents will:

1. Be active in the faith development of their children.
   

1. Instill in each child positive values and attitudes.

1. Be familiar with and support school and class regulations and policies.
   
   
2. Support the educational programs offered at St. Patrick Catholic School by careful and conscientious supervision of school assignments.
   
   
3. Support the behavior standards recommended by St. Patrick Catholic School at all times.
   
   
4. Attend parent/teacher conferences and carry out teacher recommendations made at conferences.
   
   
5. Fulfill all contractual obligations, including the payment of tuition and fees on time.
   
   
6. Support school activities and events.
   
   
7. Provide a willingness to volunteer their service to help build a strong school community by giving of themselves.
   
   
8. Attend Parent Meetings and other meetings that have to do with the student's educational or religious growth. At least one parent is expected to attend each meeting.
   
   
9. Take an active part in all school fund raising activities.
   
   
10. Be responsible for all damage and loss of school property caused by the student.
    
    
11. When a parent has a concern, discuss the matter with the teacher, next the principal, and then the Executive Director.
    
    
12. Utilize the School Board to direct suggestions and recommendations that affect the school community
