Our recently added middle school program is an innovative school model that stresses rigorous academic preparation that will result in high school success. Nationally, this model has proven to significantly increase academic achievement, high school graduation rates (90%), and college placement for children who are at-risk.

We accomplish this goal in a small nurturing environment. We are seeking admission into the Nativity/Miguel Network of Schools, a national network, which has proven success in educating students according to this model. The program includes an extended day, extended year, and Saturday enrichment program.

Significant blocks of time will be devoted to the core subjects of math, science, language arts, and social studies. Other elective and enrichment classes will be offer during the extended hours. Learning through technology will be enhanced through the students' access to laptop computers.

Parental support and involvement is essential to the success of this program. We believe that by working together, by implementing the standards of the NativityMiguel Schools, and by generating community interest and support, we can make a real difference in the lives of our students and community.
