Help us make a difference in the life of a child!
Every year generous alumni, parents, faculty, and friends invest in the future of St. Patrick School. Their contributions of time, talent, and treasure enhance our curriculum, facilities, and programs and offer tuition assistance to families.

Please take a few moments to think about some of the ways you might be able to support the mission of St. Patrick School now and many years into the future:

Be a student supporter: You can give the gift of a Catholic Education to a child in need by taking part in our tuition assistance program. Through this program, we hope will result in a unique relationship between one or more of our students and a local business, community group, or individual.

The partnership involves a financial contribution from a participating sponsor that helps to defray the cost of educating a child at St. Patrick.  All of our families pay tuition.  However, the tuition is far below our cost of educating the children. For more information, please contact the school office.

We ask that you please consider sponsoring a student at one of the following levels:

$8,000 average cost to educate a child for one school year
$735 tuition for one school year
$100 School Supplies

Matching Gifts: Many companies will match your gift to St. Patrick School. Check with your personnel office to see if your company will match your contribution.

Other property:
Memorial gifts may also be funded with assets such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds that have increased in value. You not only receive regular tax savings, but you entirely avoid the capital gains tax on qualified assets given for charitable use. This extra tax benefit is one reason why a growing number of people choose to make memorial gifts using property other than cash.
  • Magic Match Sponsor: St. Patrick teachers have many techniques for capturing students’ attention and engaging them in learning. We are grateful to our Magic Match donors who have helped teachers by providing funds to purchase additional materials for students. In return for a $50, $75, or $100 monthly donation, donors receive monthly letters from the class describing how the funds were used. Please consider becoming a Magic Match Sponsor. Call the School Office at (217) 523-7670 for more information.
Leave a legacy: Many discover that their long-range estate and financial plans provide a thoughtful way to make memorial gifts in honor of others.

Consider the following ways to leave legacy in memory of a special friend or loved one.

  • A gift included in your will or living trust can establish a lasting legacy.

  • A gift of excess retirement funds, such as pensions plans or individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), may allow you to give more, while eliminating taxes that may otherwise largely deplete these assets.

  • Gifts of life insurance that has fulfilled to its original purpose may offer excellent tax benefits. Policies that you purchased to protect a loved one who no longer needs that protection can be an excellent way to make a gift in honor of the person.

  • Gifts that provide an income can be a tax-effective way to provide you and/or someone else you designate with regular payments for life or other period of time. Check with us or your advisor for more information.

  • Gift of Stock/Securities
